Old Glory Ranch, a secluded 2,200-acre ranch, with a 2 mile stretch of the crystal-clear Blanco River running through it, is located in the Texas Hill Country town of Wimberley, Texas. Old Glory Ranch is home to outstanding indoor and outdoor wedding and special event venues and facilities, each one carefully designed to retain its' natural beauty and appointed with true Texas Hill Country style.

CHAPEL HALL, INDOOR EVENT VENUE [view photos]
Our indoor special event venue is Chapel Hall, an approximately 4,000 sq. ft. chapel-style building with a classic Victorian Texas atmosphere, appointed with longleaf pine, antique light fixtures & decorative appointments, and turn-of-the century stained glass. Architecturally designed with flexibility in mind, Chapel Hall appeals to a wide range of cultures and ethnic groups. It includes a 12'x24' raised stage, with the following options for special events or weddings.

COVERED PATIO, OUTDOOR EVENT VENUE [view photos]
Adjacent to Chapel Hall, our Covered Patio, is a perfect venue for corporate dinners, reunions, wedding receptions, wedding rehearsal dinners and dances. Measuring 36' x 41', it includes a smooth floor finish, ideal for dances as well as a free-standing circular fireplace. The Covered Patio venue also has clear vinyl side panels that can be used if necessary, making it a year-round option for weddings and special events.

STONE PATIO
The Stone Patio is an outdoor event venue adjacent to the Covered Patio. Shaded by huge spreading oak trees, it makes an excellent venue for additional seating for events using the COVERED PATIO. [view location of stone patio]

GATEHOUSE PAVILION, OUTDOOR EVENT VENUE [view photos]
The Gatehouse Pavilion is an outdoor covered special event venue of approximately 36 ft. by 60 ft. It has a minimal kitchenette, two powder rooms, a shower and sitting room. There are ten attractive cedar tables with benches that will seat 8 to 10 people each. The Gatehouse Pavilion venue has a large fireplace with stain glass sidelights at one end with the powder rooms conveniently located at the opposite end. The Gatehouse Pavilion is our most economical outdoor special event venue option when booked other than a Saturday night. This event venue makes a great informal special event venue for reunions, corporate dinners, or rehearsal dinners for the budget conscious.

WOODEN DECK, OUTDOOR EVENT VENUE, [view photos]
Our Wedding Deck is a wooden deck on the Blanco River overlooking one of the most beautiful areas of rapids on the river. The deck creates an idyllic setting for outdoor weddings, commitment ceremonies, renewal of vows, picnics and musical events with an unlimited capacity for seating guests.

STONE LANDING, OUTDOOR EVENT VENUE [view photos]
The Stone Landing is a stone and masonry deck on a tranquil stretch of the Blanco River, suited for outdoor wedding ceremonies, renewal of vows, or intimate dinners and picnics. This outdoor special event venue is ideal for weddings of 75 or less.

CUSTOM TENT [view photos]
Our 46' x 32' Custom Tent has been designed with natural warm colors with clear vinyl sides to blend in with the native woods of the building. It has been constructed to custom fit the south side of Chapel Hall with doors from the hall opening into the tent. It can be air conditioned or heated to provide a year round special event venue. It has a nice grass carpet, but can also be set up with a dance floor or hardwood flooring if desired. A restroom trailer can be parked on the backside of the tent to provide convenient restrooms. The tent has attractive lighting and twinkle lights, but additional lighting is available should there be a need to light a stage for a band or if there's a need for some type of decorative presentation.

TWO MILES OF BLANCO RIVERFRONT
The Blanco River is the jewel of the Texas Hill Country. The Blanco River’s crystal clear waters flow through miles of unspoiled nature where wildlife such as wood ducks, hawks, kingfishers and osprey abound. Numerous springs throughout the river help keep the water clarity exceptional. Our 2 miles of Blanco River frontage makes for a great outdoor venue for kayaking, canoeing and fly fishing excursions. Anglers can catch Guadalupe Bass, the state fish of Texas, smallmouth and largemouth Bass. The river is also home to catfish as well as several species of sunfish. Fly fishers will enjoy the clear water for easy wading and excellent site-casting opportunities for trophy river bass. With both rapids and deep pools, it provides a great outdoor venue for those wanting a back-to-nature outing. Best months for fly fishing are March to June and September to November.
